10/28/2011 - Measurable Successes

“According to the EC companies annually lose more than 8.6 billion Euros through theft of high-quality and risky products and goods during transport. The threat comes from organised criminal groups; it is constantly growing and increasingly violent. This crime has to be stopped!” Source: TAPA EMEA

It is in the interest of Time Shuttle, to combat this trend! Organised crime is a problem, which many forwarding and logistics companies have to struggle with. Not least Time Shuttle has for several years been an active member of the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA). Those who have knowledge about the organisation and its objectives know about the high safety requirements, which are to be fulfilled. Besides the already known Freight Security Requirements (FSR)-certification efforts have now been made, to achieve certification of transport and the corresponding safety equipment with Truck Security Requirements (TSR). Time Shuttle continuously supports the TAPA Organisation in development and updating work through its active participation in pilot projects. In September 2011 Time Shuttle could implement the latest TSR standard to fullest satisfaction and pass the audit successfully. Realization, implementation, commitment and training during the pilot project now won an award in recognition of the support rendered by Time Shuttle.

State-of-the-art safety technology and a sophisticated quality assurance system lead to success all along the line. What does that mean for our customers? „Trust“, said Mr. Eickels (managing director Time Shuttle) „our customers have as usual access to highly certified safety technology through which they benefit from our proved adherence to just-in-time schedules of >99.9 %.“ Besides protection of the goods, also the drivers trust in top-level security during transport. Finally protection of our drivers has priority and we are pleased to know that our relationship is also based on trust. Time Shuttle furthermore has set a milestone in the implementation of security transport of the future.
